Satellite Concourse

OTC was the terminal planner on this design competition submission for a new 100-gate Satellite Concourse, linked via two APM lines to the existing Terminals 1 and 2.
OTC’s planning solution provided a highly efficient, multi-level Concourse with 3 distinct zones, accommodating a flexible mix of domestic and international gates, many of them with swing capability. Innovative Transfer Pods, located in strategic nodes around the Concourse, accommodated all the complex passenger transfer processing between sectors (domestic / international), concourses and terminals in one user-friendly and architecturally distinct hub, ensuring a positive passenger experience and minimizing the Minimum Connect Time (MCT).
